9114 Book II Chapter 114 of: “Twinergy and the Boys of Clear Lake!”

For the children and the flowers
Are my sisters and my brothers

Could clear a cloudy day…

Cody threw his arm around my shoulder in sort of a mock headlock kind of way, but not rough what-so-ever, and more of a symbol of endearment. We walked down the hallway to the staircase, and it was a little past nine O’clock. We walked down the stairs, and headed towards the wonderful smells wafting from the kitchen…..along with the shouting?

We walked in and most of the gang was seated at the table or the breakfast nook noshing on pancakes, waffles, potato’s and BACON!!!

I fucking love bacon, and so apparently does Blake, as his plate, as usual, resembled a serving plate meant to feed an entire family as opposed to a single serving.

Tanner and Jace were squabbling over something, and were shouting at one another on their bar-stools at the breakfast nook. I just tried to put them out of my mind, not even really caring about what kind of tangent the two of them were onto this time. Cody and I each grabbed a plate, when Tash spotted me and gestured us over to her as she was removing a waffle from the waffle iron.

We approached her as I lifted my plate up for the freshly removed waffle, while she reached around me and said, “You know our guests always get served first Nika,” as she placed the warm waffle on Cody’s plate. Then she said, “So, how did you boys sleep last night, you two cuties?”

We both giggled and looked down at the floor with Cody visibly blushing a little. I replied, “OK I guess,” as Tasha took one of the earlier cooked waffles from a tray and placed it on my plate. Cody was looking up at her and repeating my sentiments that we had slept OK, rather sheepishly albeit. Tash laughed a little and said, “It’s Ok you two, everyone knows you guys are sexually active and have a physical relationship. It’s healthy and wholesome, so don’t be embarrassed or ashamed. Everyone accepts you guys for who you are.”

We both nodded and I said, trying to change the subject, but still genuinely concerned, “So how’s Travis, sis?”

She said, “Better than last night, but still angry and hurt.”

I said, “Where is he?”

Tasha: “Still upstairs in my room sleeping.”

Cody, sounding kinda excited, “Haha, soooo, he slept with you last night Tash?”

Tasha, smiling back at him, “Yesss Cody, and Garrett too. We just slept is all. On top of the bed, in our sweats and shirts as well. We talked with him till after two. He’s a lot better than last night.”

Just then Sasha and Sequoia walked in to the room and each grabbed a plate lining up behind me and Cody. Sasha was saying to Sequoia, “I know I had it yesterday morning, and I’m sure I left it in my room.”

Sequoia said, “I know, my necklace with the snake rattle’s missing too. I thought I left it next to my bed. But I did see an I-pod in the living room last night before we ate Sash.”

Sasha said, “Kool Sequoia, thanks. I’ll go check.”

Then he proceeded to exit the kitchen and walked out towards the living room. I said to Sequoia, “What’s he looking for Longhair?”

Sequoia: “His I-pod, it went missing, along with my snake rattle necklace.”

I said, “Oh, well the one in the living room last night was mine. After we ate dinner I grabbed it before I went out to the back yard.”

Sequoia: “Oh, well so much for that then.”

Tash served Sequoia another of the freshly made waffles as she removed it from the iron. Cody and I were grabbing some bacon from the pan, still being cooked. We both like our bacon chewy. Meanwhile Blake was scarfing away, Tanner and Jace were still yelling at one another, and Sasha was returning from the living room shaking his head “no” to Sequoia, that it was not out there.

Cody and I walked over to the table and sat down on both sides of Blake, who looked up and said, “Morning guys, by any chance have either of you seen my keys? I left em in here last night just before I grabbed a snack and went to bed?”

Cody responded, “No, but maybe they’re with Sasha’s I-pod and Sequoia’s snake-rattle necklace?”

Blake: “Huh?”

I said, “Never-mind Blake, it just appears we have a rash of missing items.”

Blake: “Yah, what did you lose Nika?”

I said, “Well, for starters, there’s the little brown package that Mr. Weiner gave me the night of our get well party. I know where I left it, but haven’t seen it since.”

Cody: “I wonder if someone’s playing a joke you guys?”

Blake, not paying much attention to either of us, and just eating away, “Well, if they are, I’ll pound em when I catch em.”

I said, “I doubt it’s on purpose, probably just a coincidence.”

Tanner and Jace were getting louder and louder by the moment, and I asked Blake, “What’s with those two?”

Blake glanced over at them for a second before casting his eye’s back to his plate to resume eating, “I dunno, just two imbeciles being imbeciles!”

Cody: “What set em off though, Tanner’s starting to look like he’s getting close to one of his meltdowns.”

Nika: “Yah, he’s redlining, or close to it.”

Blake: “Something about Jace went to get more food, and when he came back, Tanner was sitting in his spot. They’ve been arguing every since.”

Cody: “How long ago was that?”

Blake: “I dunno, who cares. Maybe twenty five minutes or half hour ago.”

Jace: “Your such an asshole Tanner, why didn’t you just move?”

Tanner: “Maybe I woulda if you asked nice, instead of just shaking the back of my chair and saying, “MOVE!”

Jace: “Doesn’t matter how I say it, you were wrong.”

Tanner: “Too bad, just shut-up and eat, here, have some more bacon.” As Tanner had been eating a piece of bacon, and threw the last bite on Jace’s plate. Jace looked down at his plate, as Tanner just kept eating.

Jace then yelled at Tanner, “Figures You Have No Manners, Seeing As Your Mom And Dad Don’t Want You, Or Anything To Do With You!!!”

Cody and I looked at each other, and that had caught Blake’s attention as well, and he actually looked up from his plate. I said, “Oh shit, oh shit you guys, that’s bound to start something.”

Tanner stopped chewing as his face turned red. I thought smoke was gonna start coming out his ears any second. Then he looked at Jace and screamed, “AT LEAST MY DAD DOESN’T BEAT ME FUCKER!!!”

Cody: “Not good, not good!”

Blake: “Oh Shit! They had to use the Nuke option!”

Then, as Tanner went back to taking a bite of pancake, SLAM! He felt something crash against his head, and cold liquid all over his head and face.

Blake winced and said, “Shit, and I wanted more orange juice too….damn-it!”

Cody: “Oh no…..not again.”

Nika: “Fuck, what a mess!

Tanner, drenched in orange juice, with a trail of blood dripping down his neck from under his hairline, “HERE JACE, YOU COMPLETE FUCK-TARD!” As he picked up his heavy ceramic plate and slammed it into Jace’s face.

Jace’s bar-stool flipped backward and crashed onto the tile floor. He stood up, as blood poured from his nose down his shirt. Pieces of pancake, syrup, bacon and butter were smeared all over his face. Tanner had stood up and Jace lunged at him. Tanner fell backward and they both began throwing punches and wrestling on the floor.

Jace, as he was on top of Tanner, punching him in the face, “You Fucker, I Think You Broke My Nose!!!”

Tanner: “Get Off Of Me You Bastard!!!”

Jace: “I’m Gonna Break Your Fuckin Nose You Piece Of SHIT!!”

Tanner lifted his leg and kicked Jace to the side as he flipped over and jumped on top of him, then began punching him. Jace reached up and grabbed Tanners long hair and began yanking on it, screaming, “Get off me you FAGGOT…..Get Off!!!”

Tanner, upon hearing that, went crazy, and started hitting Jace all the harder.

Blake jumped up and said, “Shit, guess this has gone on long enough, “KC, grab Jace when he tries to get up after I pull Tanner off of em.”

KC: “Lovely!”

Blake scurried over and grabbed the back of Tanner’s shirt, and with one good yank, lifted Tanner off of Jace as Tanner screamed, “Ahhhh Fuck…..My Hair!”

Blake wrapped his arms around Tanner, reminiscent of the way he held his little brother Wesley the night before. And Jace jumped up, clinching long strands of blond hair in each hand, looking at it like, “What The Fuck?”

KC grabbed at Jace, but missed. Then Jace grabbed mom’s crystal water pitcher (his weapon of choice this particular morning), and raised it over his head, and lunged towards Tanner.

Tanner, immobilized by Blake from the waist up, lifted his leg and kicked Jace backwards. Jace hit the table with his butt and fell backward, coming to rest on the table. The crystal pitcher ripped from his fingers and made it’s way to the tile floor, shattering into pieces, as food and eating utensils scattered everywhere.

Shadow waddled into the room through the door from the living-room and began nibbling on some of the food that had fallen from the table, unconcerned with any of the commotion.

This time when Jace got up, KC was there and forcefully grabbed him from behind. Tanner was struggling as Blake held him tight, and KC told Jace, “Don’t even try it Jace, or I’ll put you to sleep!”

Blake looked at me and Cody and said, “Hey Nika, if KC and I are gonna havta play referee at every meal, we’re gonna want to start getting hazzard pay!”

I replied, “No shit….huh Blake, thanks again.”

As I looked around, everyone had backed up against the wall, away from the violence, especially the little ones. But no one was crying or screaming this time. Once Tanner and Jace were secured, everyone went back to where they were sitting, and resumed eating as if nothing happened.I guess they were becoming numb to/from the recent outbursts.

Meanwhile Tanner and Jace had calmed down a little, so Blake and KC released their hold on them, as Blake walked back to sit down and finish eating. Jace turned to the table and grabbed some napkins and began wiping his face. Tanner walked to the counter, and grabbed a dish towel and began wiping his face, hair, and then the back of his head and neck, and feeling around the spots that Jace had removed some hair. A minute later, Tasha returned to the kitchen, having retrieved Garrett, who was carrying a first aid kit.

He walked over to Jace, whose nose was still pouring blood. Garrett took Jace’s head, and tilted it back with one hand, and his nose with the other, pinching it closed, saying, “Just relax Jace. Once we get the bleeding stopped, we’ll stuff some cotton or gauze up there. We’ve done this in the locker room a half dozen times, so I know what I’m doing.

Meanwhile, Tash sat Tanner down and began looking through his hair, and dabbing at a cut on the back of his head, “don’t think you’re gonna need stitches blondie, but I’m gonna have to shave a little spot so I can butterfly the slit closed with the bandages….OK Tanner.”

Tanner just nodded his head, as best that he could, and Cody said to me, “What the fuck is going on around here?”

I said, “People just letting off steam I guess Cody. It’s been a stressful week or so.”

Just then, we head the door open and than a woman’s voice screaming, “Боже мой! Мальчики, что вы тут устроили на моей кухне?! Как Мамай прошёл… Еда на полу, посуда разбита… Нельзя на несколько дней уехать, чтобы эти маленькие паршивцы не перевернули всё вверх дном! Ох, как же хочется выстроить вас всех в шеренгу и выпороть как следует!”

Sasha ran over and hid behind me and Cody, as everyone else fell deathly silent. Sasha peeking out from between Cody and I, whispering, “Holy Fuck Nika…it’s mom and dad!”

Cody: “What a time for your parents to get home Nika.”

Nika: “Tell me about it Cody. And she’s speaking Russian too, Sash!”

Sasha: “Ohh, that’s not good ….any idea what she said?”

Nika: “Yah, something about the kitchen being a wreck and glass and food being a mess, and she’d like to give us a beating. Or something along those lines. Oh yah, and that we’re all crazy!”

Blake looked up from the table at mom, still chewing his food. And as if nothing was out of the ordinary, or had happened, “Hi Mrs. V….welcome home!”

Mom just turned red faced, and began stomping her feet on the floor, cursing, Чёрт чёрт чёрт чёрт ЧЁРТ ПОБЕРИ!!!! (Damn-it damn-it damn-it damn-it damn-it)!

She turned and ran out of the room as dad was walking in carrying two suitcases. He stepped out of the way of our rampaging mom, as she scurried past him screaming in Russian. Blake continued to eat as dad walked in the kitchen and looked about. He looked down at the mess on the table and floor, that Shadow was still feeding on, then at Tanner as Tasha was attending his head, over to Jace with his head still tilted back as Garrett was stuffing gauze up his nose, and then to Blake who was sitting down, still eating, and not paying any attention to anything.

Sash whispered to us, “Not a very good morning for blond kids I guess guys.” When Blake responded, “Or for glass and crystal pitchers either.”

Then pop smiled and began a husky laugh, “Huu, hu, hu, hu, hu!”

I said, in a sqeaky voice, “Umm, sorry dad!”

He just looked at me, shacking his head, and said, “Jungen sind jungen!”

Then he turned with the suitcases, and headed towards their room. I looked down at Sasha, and said, “Sash, what the fuck did he just say?”

Sasha smiled and said, “Boys will be boys!”
